Hi guys 🙂 First of all let me just say that I miss blogging everyday. I just think at this point and time, I don’t feel like I can actually do it everyday without it becoming  an obligation instead of something I’d like to do. There is too much for me to do and think about without adding something else to the list of things that I HAVE to do. With that being said, I would like to try to post at least a couple of times a week because I’m still taking pictures pretty much on a daily basis. So I guess I’ll be changing the rules around a little bit. Instead of 365 days of photos (Since I’m way behind on that) this can serve as my personal blog with the stories accentuated by photos…I mean, that’s pretty much what it was anyway, except now it will be revolving instead of a time limit of one year. What do you guys think of that? Anyway, here are some Spring pictures to make you smile! I hope you enjoy them! See y’all soon!

I am going to post-pone my blog for just a little bit. I promise I will be back soon though. I’m trying to work on some things right now that deserve my full attention. That way, the blog and I will be even more awesome. So, I’m sorry if this dissappoints any blog fans, but I promise it will be totally worth the wait, be it a few days or a few weeks. I love you guys!

Hi ! I got so caught up in everything yesterday that I forgot to write! I’m so sorry! I had to find my way out of almost three feet of snow and then fetch my husband from West Point because his truck was plowed in! Thank goodness he’s finally home though. I missed him so much! Anyway, back to the snow… It’s more than I’ve ever seen in person. We got about 30 or so inches over a three day period. Ridiculous! I know i’ve already posted some pictures and there are several on my facebook. I personally do not care for this much snow. I had to have someone plow out my driveway. My car was stuck yesterday. So, I made new rules: 1) we always have to own a 4 wheel drive for as long as we live here & 2) we will have our own snow blower before next winter. No more of this shoveling the driveway shit. So yeah, I think that’s it for now. I’m sleepy and have to work tomorrow. Have a good night y’all!

It’s day 163 of 365, my little snow bunnies!

Let’s see. Ask me how my day started. “Alex, how did your day start?” Let me tell you…crappily. I didn’t sleep well at ALL! I think because I was really worried about the snow. And then my alarm didn’t go off. Luckily, I woke up only 10 minutes after I meant to. And it was off to work from there. I was also kind of bummed because I didn’t get to talk to Scott last night. He called me later in the morning though, so that totally cheered me up.

And it snowed quite a bit today! So far we’ve gotten anywhere from 16-20 inches this week and it’s still falling. We could have 13 more on top of this by Saturday. I hate it sooooo much. At least I know some really awesome people that are willing to help a lady out! The Reifenbergs were a sneaky bunch and came and shoveled my driveway before the Uhls could get to it. And the Uhls bought me some cat food while they were at Hannaford. So thanks to all of you for your hard work and your good intentions. I wish more people in this world were that thoughtful. Hopefully we won’t get as much as predicted tomorrow. I hate to ask for more help and I really don’t want to pay a snow plow to plow out my driveway, either. I parked at the edge so I won’t have much to shovel out in the morning. Then maybe I can just shovel the rest of it or some of it when I get home from work tomorrow? I don’t know. If it pelts down another foot, I’ll totally call a plow. I really hope it doesn’t though. Scott is supposed to be coming home tomorrow, but you know he won’t be able to if the weather keeps up like this. That makes me really sad to think about, actually.

Anyway, Here are some pictures of my yard and deck. For those of you who hardly ever see large quantities of snow, gaze on in awe and wonder. For those of you who do, be thankful that it wasn’t you this time (hopefully). For those of you who live here, I guess we should be thankful that we have warm beds to sleep in tonight and people who love us. That’s it for now. Stay tuned for more local weather coverage and bitching. See y’all tomorrow!

It’s day 162 of 365, my bosom buddies, lol.

Did you get any snow where you live? Supposedly we were only supposed to get maybe 2 inches followed by rain. Unfortunately the changeover to rain never happened so we got stuck with 6 inches of very wet snow. Did you know wet snow is hard to shovel? If you didn’t, let me assure you that it is. My back is telling me all about it right now, as is the blister on my hand. I even had on gloves. But wait, here’s the best part…the forecast is predicting 6-9 more inches tomorrow!! Ugh. This is why I hate New York. Maybe someone will be nice enough to let me borrow their snow blower tomorrow….probably not though. Anyway.  So what did I do today? I shoveled out the driveway (at least enough to get my car in and out), vacuumed, did laundry, ran to Kmart to get cat litter & some cleaning stuff, mopped, and now I’m waiting out my last load of clothes so I can put the sheets and comforter (confiter, hahaha)  in the dryer. Then, my friend Leigh Ann and I are going out for Indian food. I’m looking forward to that 🙂

So today pictures are of the back deck and the dogs outside this morning. Enjoy, and I’ll (hopefully) see y’all tomorrow as long as we have electricity and everything !

So, I didn’t have Internet service last night at work so I couldn’t blog from there. What’s going on with everyone? I’m just waiting for my hubby to get back from his Tdy…2 more days!!! that means I’ve got a lot to do tomorrow! Laundry, grocery store, mega clean litter boxes, vacuum…and I’m going to dinner with Leigh Ann tomorrow evening. It will definitely be a busy day! So for pictures, I’ll give you some more of the bachelorette party: some of our drinks, lol. Enjoy and I’ll see y’all tomorrow!

Sorry I missed yesterday’s blog, my friends! I was out living it up, haha. Not really, but I went to a bachelorette party and didn’t get in until around 3 this morning. First stop was TGI Friday’s followed by dancing at Primetime. I had fun, but was ready to get home when I did.  I took a shower and was about to go to bed when I found Kaylee eating wall spackling from it’s tub…So, instead of going to bed, I had to call poison control to make sure she wasn’t going to die because the spackling contained both ethylene glycol and formaldehyde. I finally got to sleep around 4, but had to wake up a few times during the night to check on her. She came to work with me today too, so I could keep a close (yet sleepy) eye on her. She’s fine though. It hasn’t seemed to have bothered her at all.

So, pictures for today and yesterday are of the beginning of the party at TGI Friday’s and Kaylee being all girly at work with me today. I’m going to go eat a little bit and then probably go to bed before too awfully long. Enjoy and I’ll see y’all tomorrow!
